The Langtang Valley in proximity to other trekking areas lies closest to Kathmandu Valley, and is less significantly used by both trekkers and local. This trek offers good opportunity for moderate climbing and excursionsvand exploration of the extensive glacier system. The return route takes you to the holy lakes of Gosainkund, an important place of pilgrimage, and over a high pass that brings us almost to the edge of Kathmandu itself.
